The United States has an alarming increase in electronic waste. An average American disposes of over 10 pounds worth of electronic waste each year. People throw away their electronics without realizing the toxic materials in them, such as lead, mercury and cadmium, which can pollute soil and water supplies if they end up in landfills.
E-waste is a waste of space and can be dangerous to people. If they are not used properly, some of these materials could be used for evil purposes.
Electronic waste is an ever-growing problem. E-Waste will continue to rise with the increasing use of electronic devices. Until a viable and practical solution is found, it is likely that this trend will continue.
A new law, the Responsible Electronics Recycling Act (RERA), will soon be in effect. It requires that producers take full responsibility for recycling electronic waste generated by their products. The manufacturers will be required to finance the collection and recycling of e-waste generated by their products. It will be more costly for consumers to dispose of electronics properly if they are thrown away.
Gadget retailers, manufacturers, and retailers offer trash bins that allow people to dispose of their old phones and other gadgets. The company will safely and legally dispose of them. For busy people, dropping off your gadgets at designated stores can be difficult. Consequently, their E-waste ends up in landfills, which can be dangerous for both the environment and health.
Many people don’t know that their old electronics can be recycled. After we have collected your electronics, this is what we do. They are sent to our E-Waste Recycling plants, where metals and other useful components are removed and hazardous and toxic chemicals are properly disposed of through incineration or other legal methods. Instead of throwing them into landfills that cost the environment a hefty sum of money to break down, why don’t you call us for our junk removal service and we’ll handle everything else from there?
What do we do?
We will visit your house or business to remove any e-waste, then load it into our truck and take it to an approved recycling facility. This will allow it to be recycled into raw materials, so it doesn’t end in a landfill. We may also do other junk removal services such as yard waste removal, full cleanouts, etc. Upon request.
You are not only helping the environment by hiring us to remove your junk.
